The preparation and submission of a successful grant proposal require collaboration between various departments in an organization. Ongoing communication is key to ensuring the most compelling application possible. We can provide the following:
Conduct regional and national grant research and prospecting to identify good match potential funders based on the organization's mission
Prepare grant proposals, including writing narrative portions and reviewing other documents prepared by the client (budget, attachments, letters of support, etc.)
Proof of all materials
Applying for a grant is only part of the capacity-building process. To elevate your organization for success, we can:
Audit current organizational policies and procedures and draft needed items based on grant funder requirements (the organization is responsible for reviewing and having them approved by their governing body/legal counsel)
Coordinate with program staff to elevate program language (inputs, outputs, short/medium/long term outcomes, evaluation)
Develop tailored messaging for donors, volunteers, and audience across various platforms such as email, social media, mail, etc.
Write copy for web pages, newsletters, external and internal communications, etc.
Design and develop other donor facing content such as impact reports, one-pagers, case studies, and more
The client is responsible for drafting budgets and attachments. Advising and proofing assistance are available.
The client is responsible for internal data collection for proposal and report preparation. This includes organizational history, most recent needs statement, definitions of programs, and outcomes and evaluation language.
Once completed, the client is responsible for submitting all grant materials to the funder. The method of submission will vary by the funder.
